In the last 30 years our government has spent 4.2 trillion dollars JUST upholding marijuana laws. In the last 30 years they have lost over 1.5 trillion dollars in taxes at least. That's close to 6 trillion dollars, almost half of our current nations debt. Don't try and tell me legalizing marijuana wouldn't help the economy.
