Sketch Wine Bar - Wine and food for Baker's oenophiles
Sketch opened over a year ago as a basic wine bar with appetizers. It now has extended both the hours of operation and food: breakfast and lunch items including panini and coffee.
Note: the famous Italian sandwich is a panino. When you have multiple sandwiches the plural form of the word is panini. So, if someone says "1 panini" they are mixing numbers.
Hours for Sketch Wine and Food
Sketch is open seven days a week until 2am, and now opens at 6am Monday through Friday at 7am on weekends with breakfast available until 11am every day.
Breakfast and espresso at Sketch wine bar
The morning menu features fresh, hand-made, high-protein/low-calorie panini (egg and cheese with the choice to add ham or substitute egg whites). And they include the classic simple breakfast options of yogurt with fresh fruit, oatmeal with a choice of toppings, and smoothies, perhaps inspired by the smoothness of the italian plaster on their walls.
Sketch's Lunch panini
They also have lunch panini with spinach and mustard aioli (aka mayonnaise) on wheat or sourdough bread. Choose from cappicola and goat cheese with tomato, proscuitto and mozzarella, serrano ham and manchego with red onions, virginia ham with white cheddar and pickles, or roasted red pepper and dry jack with carmelized onions.
