Doors Open Denver is this weekend, Saturday & Sunday, 17 & 18 April, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; this annual public opening of interesting buildings is a great opportunity to learn about Denver's architectural history

last year's event included four Baker locations and one building (City of Denver Wastewater Management) whose grounds include a bridge into Baker; this year only Eron Johnson Antiques is within Baker, but just a block away in the Speer Neighborhood is another building with an interesting past and present, Sink Combs Dethlefs
