Denver Urban Homesteading covered in regional magazine
Submitted by garbanzito on Fri, 03/19/2010 - 20:27
most of us don't keep up with Ag Journal, a La Junta, Colorado-based periodical covering midwest agricultural issues, but Ag Journal is keeping up with Baker; it has just published a detailed article on Baker's own farmer's market, Denver Urban Homesteading: "Urban homesteading brings farm to city"
the article also mentions Baker (confusing the historic district with the whole neighborhood) and the Bolt Factory (at the wrong location), but mistakes aside it's fascinating to see Baker from a new perspective
Denver Urban Homesteading at 2nd & Santa Fe is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday, and now accepts Mastercard, Visa and SNAP (food stamps)
