Cherokee gives back part of gates factory land/project

The Denver Post is reporting that Cherokee Denver, the potential developer of the former Gates factory has decided to abandon the project. They are retaining the 24 acre property on the West side of the railroad tracks and may sell that, but the property on the East side will revert to Gates ownership.

After countless meetings and years of work by various organizations, Baker may be back to the starting point on finding a new developer for the property and starting negotiations over.
