This just in from the @breckbrew twitter account:

In recognition of their 20th anniversary, Breckenridge Brewery will release the Buddha’s Hand Witbier in limited supply to Old Chicago restaurant locations in Colorado. The beer will be released to the public at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 4 at all Colorado Old Chicago locations during a special tapping party and will be available until September 4 or while supplies last. Buddha’s Hand witbier, is brewed in the Belgian tradition with an American twist. Cascade hops along with a grain bill of Two Row, White Wheat, Caramel 30, Carapils and Torified Wheat afford this ale its 5.5% ABV and 17 IBU’s. What makes the hazy ale so unique is the addition of the fragrant Buddha’s hand citron plant fruit. The tropical fruit is segmented into finger-like sections, resembling the hand of Buddha, and responsible for a crisp, refreshing and lightly citrusy flavor perfect for summer enjoyment.

I'll be stopping by their 471 Kalamath street location to see if perhaps they have some of this delicious sounding beer available to people who prefer the Breckenridge Brewery barbecue to the pizzas of Old Chicago.

buddha's hand available direct

They should have it in the 471 Kalamath street location sometime in a few weeks. Old Chicago will get it first for sure, but later on they've got 2 kegs to tap at their barbecue outlet.
