Alameda bridge reconstruction under way

construction activities for the replacement of the Alameda Ave. bridge over I-25 began 1 April, a day earlier than the Athmar Park newsletter had reported; we have observed that lane restrictions on Kalamath just north of Alameda have already been creating major backups at the evening rush hour

the CDOT project page still doesn't even have the start date, and CDOT hasn't returned my call, but Kevin Flynn's Inside Lane (see project #25) has managed to learn some details which might be helpful to Baker residents:

Work Hours: Single lane closures Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. with occasional weekend work.
Duration: April 2010 through September 2011
