Sketch Wine Bar - Wine and food for Baker's oenophiles

Sketch opened over a year ago as a basic wine bar with appetizers. It now has extended both the hours of operation and food: breakfast and lunch items including panini and coffee.

Note: the famous Italian sandwich is a panino. When you have multiple sandwiches the plural form of the word is panini. So, if someone says "1 panini" they are mixing numbers.

Hours for Sketch Wine and Food

Sketch is open seven days a week until 2am, and now opens at 6am Monday through Friday at 7am on weekends with breakfast available until 11am every day.

Logan Liquor

Logan Liquor is perhaps the best selection of decent beer and wine near residential Baker. It carries and rotates notable microbrews and has a fairly decent wine section. If you're feeling lazy, go through the drive through!

First Ave Liquor Store

This is a standard Broadway liquor store whose sales are mostly limited to bulk products like Coors Light, Yellow Tail, and Marlboro Lights. If you're looking for Dogfish Head products, better to head to nearby Logan Liquors.

Rackhouse Pub to open adjacent to Stranahan's Whiskey Distillery

Rackhouse Pub and Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey

Rackhouse Pub is moving into the south end of the building now owned by Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey; Rackhouse has applied for a hotel and restaurant liquor license and a cabaret (dancing) license; the owners presented at the September BHNA meeting and their license hearing is today; according to the company's Twitter feed, they plan to open 9 October

Stranahan's Whiskey is moving into the building of the former Heavenly Daze Restaurant.

They are also creating a restaurant called Rackhouse Pub.

All beers are $4 and served in 16oz cups unless noted otherwise.
